This fall, I had the honor of photographing Amanda and Mateo’s sweet wedding. Their venue was absolutely enchanting! These two said “I do” in the beautiful Everlasting in the Wildwood in Owosso, Michigan. Everlastings in the Wildwood is a family-owned greenhouse and plant nursery. When you book this venue, you gain access to 1.5 acres of gardens filled with beautiful plants and flowers and three waterfalls. It’s an affordable, unique location for anyone searching for outdoor wedding venues!

Getting Ready at Everlastings in the Wildwood

This Owosso wedding venue has getting ready locations for both the girls and the guys. The girls get the upstairs of the main barn, equipped with a full bathroom and air conditioning. Across the property you’ll find the guys’ getting ready in a minimalist barn. This is great for guys who are just getting changed and having a drink before the big day! 

Once Amanda and Mateo were finished getting ready, the two opted for a first look to get most of their photos out of the way before the ceremony. We had access to the entire property, including a large greenhouse. You couldn’t NOT get a gorgeous photo!

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in Owosso

Amanda and Mateo had a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony in front of a small waterfall amongst the gardens. A small man-made waterfall behind the couple during the ceremony made the outdoor ceremony space feel like an oasis. The property was very well kept and was open for guests to explore the flowers and plants after the ceremony.

Outdoor Wedding Reception

Everlastings in the Wildwood is definitely a hidden gem among Owosso wedding venues. While both ceremony and reception spaces are outdoors, they have a large tent to shield guests from rain and extreme sun. There is no air conditioning outside of the bridal suite, so this is something to consider when booking an outdoor wedding venue!
