Cranbrook House and Gardens is a unique and beautiful location for engagement photography in Bloomfield Hills! If you haven’t been, Cranbrook House and Gardens is part of the Cranbrook education center. The education campus consists of schools and museums, and the House and Gardens is open to the public. On a cloudy August day, we had the honor of photographing Hannah and Connor’s Cranbrook engagement photos!

We were lucky enough to just avoid rain, and we had all the beautiful flowers in bloom! The reflection pool and sunken garden are the two most popular spots for photos at the House and Gardens. The main house, stone pillars and gates also make for beautiful surroundings for Cranbrook engagement photos.

Hannah and Connor started dating in high school. They met at their 8th grade dance, how sweet! They recently got engaged, and we get to photograph their wedding! It’s always great when we get to document these special moments for couples.

Cranbrook House and Gardens is known for its beautifully manicured flower gardens and historic architecture. The grounds are even beautiful in the winter, though! Engagement photos at Cranbrook do require a photography permit. Photographer permits can be booked online on the Cranbrook website.
