On a sunny July day in 2024, Stacy and Nick tied the knot during their Ann Arbor wedding day. These two are so in love, and they were the absolute sweetest to work with! I met Stacy and Nick while taking their engagement photos, and after our session we booked their Ann Arbor wedding photography coverage!

Ann Arbor City Club Wedding

The Ann Arbor City Club was amazing to work with! Their venue coordinator was very organized and made sure we were all taken care of. Stacy and Nick had three members from the Savvy Shoots Photography team with them on their wedding day. We had two wedding photographers and a day-of coordinator. Our day-of coordinators make sure everyone is on time and even assists with set up and partial tear down as needed.

Stacy and Nick started their day getting ready at the Ann Arbor City Club. There was a getting ready room for the girls and an area for the guys. The rooms were on separate floors so it was easy to make sure they didn’t see each other! Our team captured some getting ready and detail photos as soon as we got to the venue.

First Look and Bridal Portraits

We took as many wedding photos before the ceremony as we could. Stacy had a first look with her father, then one with Nick. After the first looks, we took some bridal party portraits so the couple didn’t have to rush photos during their cocktail hour.

Ann Arbor Church Wedding Ceremony

Stacy and Nick held their ceremony at a St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor. This church was absolutely beautiful. The natural light from the windows allowed us to have plenty of light for their wedding photography. We always love when the church allows us to move about the ceremony space as well to get as many different angles as possible!

Ann Arbor Wedding Reception

After the ceremony, we headed back to Ann Arbor City Club for the reception! This venue was once a home. The club was founded by a group of women who were looking for a location for women to meet and host events. The original home has since been expanded, making it the perfect size for small to medium sized weddings.

The historic charm allows for some creative images. We also loved the amount of natural light that the building let in! There was plenty of parking for all the guests, as well as indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony. This Ann Arbor Wedding venue is close enough downtown to take some city photos during your wedding day, but far enough to avoid the traffic or headache of parking. We even took a few photos at Stacy and Nick’s alma mater during their wedding day!
