Off the beaten path in Williamston, Michigan, Hidden Grove Estate is a brand new, modern venue unlike any others. It hosted their first wedding in 2024 and is booking up (may be booked at this point) for 2025! Run, don’t walk, to this one!

Hidden Grove was created as a boutique event space by a couple who live and breathe design. It’s elegant and chic and offers getting ready spaces for the bride and groom. This is one of the most thoughtful, high-end wedding venues we have ever seen! 

Here are some of our favorite features of Hidden Grove:

• Unique architecture with variety of decor and wallpaper
• Large bridal suite complete with full-size LED-lot mirrors (amazing!)
• Men’s suite complete with a golf simulator and pool table!
• Outdoor and indoor ceremony spaces
• Built-in BnB
• Coffee services for the bridal party the day of the wedding (a dream!)
• Tables and chairs included
• Setup/teardown assistance

They offer several wedding packages as well as on-side BnB housing for you and your guests! From small elopements to the whole wedding day, they have you covered. They even offer honeymoon packages! Hidden Grove books out at least a year in advance, so it’s worth touring soon if you’re interested!

The Adams Manor

 The Adams Manor stands as a testament to timeless elegance and sophistication in Oakland Township. This historic estate, with its grand architecture and meticulously maintained gardens, offers a romantic setting for weddings.

For the bride and groom, the Manor offers a range of amenities designed to enhance your special day. The estate features a beautifully restored manor house with indoor spaces, including a grand ballroom adorned with crystal chandeliers and polished hardwood floors.

Greencrest Manor

For those enchanted by the beauty of nature, Greencrest Manor provides a serene oasis in Battle Creek, Michigan. The manor is luxurious with its sweeping staircases, expansive verandas, and tastefully appointed rooms.

Addison Oaks Buhl Estate Wedding Venue

Steeped in history and surrounded by natural beauty, Addison Oaks Buhl Estate is a hidden gem located in Leonard, Michigan, just outside Detroit. This picturesque estate features a stately manor house set amidst pristine gardens and towering oak trees.

Couples can choose from several outdoor ceremony sites, each offering its own unique charm, from the intimate garden terrace to the sprawling lawn overlooking a shimmering lake. With its rich history and timeless beauty, Addison Oaks Buhl Estate provides a romantic backdrop for weddings that are as memorable as they are beautiful.

Pine Knob Mansion

Perched atop a hill overlooking the scenic Pine Knob Golf Course, Pine Knob Mansion offers beautiful views. This historic estate provides a stunning setting for weddings. The mansion itself is ideal for smaller weddings, while the Carriage House option on the same property holds a larger number of people.

Ceremonies can take place outside under a gazebo or inside in front of beautiful stained glass. You can host a reception in the mansion’s elegant ballroom. This wedding venue is complete with windows that frame the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. 

Pine Knob Mansion combines classic charm with modern amenities, creating a truly unforgettable experience for couples and their guests. 

Some highlights of this venue include:

• Bridal Suite option
• Cake service option
• Mansion holds up to 150 guests
• Carriage house holds up to 280 guests
• Optional assistance with clean up at the end of the night (we love this!)

An important note if you’re interested in the mansion: the venue requires a $1,200 deposit to reserve the building.

Meadow Brooke Hall

Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan, is a beautiful place for weddings. This full-service wedding venue offers gorgeous outdoor and indoor options for your wedding. From intimate indoor ceremonies to large receptions in the garden tent, there’s options for everyone!

The venue is also a historic estate and museum. They even offer tours during cocktail hour! Their in-house chef creates fresh cousines for your wedding so you know the food will be delicious!

The cost to have a wedding at Meadow Brook Hall can vary, depending on how many guests you have and what extras you want. They have different packages to choose from to fit different budgets. You can learn more about hosting your wedding at Meadow Brooke here.

The Ford House

The Ford House is one of our personal favorite estates for wedding photography. They offer a photography-only option, so you can take your wedding photos here even if you choose for your ceremony and reception to be elsewhere!

Photography can be taken all around the estate, but not inside any buildings unless you are hosting your wedding inside. There is beautiful, classic architecture with kept-up gardens unlike any other in the area.

The Ford House is located in Grosse Pointe, MI, making it easily accessible for Metro Detroiters. They provide you with a staff member to guide you to the photo locations and give you some tips on the best places to go! 

The event space is perfect for hosting your dinner and allows a ton of natural light with a wall of windows. They do not provide a ton of information on their website for packages and pricing, so definitely contact them if this is a venue you’re interested in!

The Morris Estate

This one is not technically a wedding venue in Metro Detroit, but we couldn’t leave it out! It’s definitely worth traveling for, and even has overnight accommodations!

Located in Southwest Michigan, The Morris Estate blends rustic charm with understated elegance. This historic estate features a beautifully restored barn surrounded by acres of rolling hills and picturesque gardens. Couples can exchange vows beneath a canopy of old oak trees or host a reception in the barn’s spacious interior, which features exposed wooden beams and vintage chandeliers. 

One of the things we love most about this Estate is the on site bed and breakfast! The luxury BnB offers a landing pad for you and your guests so you don’t have to worry about travel the days leading up to or after your wedding.

With its serene ambiance and rustic chic aesthetic, The Morris Estate offers a unique and unforgettable setting for weddings that embrace the beauty of nature and the warmth of rustic charm.

The Oakley

Located in Holly, The Oakley offers a blend of modern sophistication and historic charm. Think of this venue as an elevated country estate. It’s a secluded property that allows you to feel like you’re getting away from the noise of the city.

The Oakley is a family-owned and operated wedding venue. An in-house event coordinator helps your wedding day run smoothly! The estate offers two main packages: the venue package and the greenhouse package. Here’s a brief overview of the packages:

Venue package: 

• Hosts up to 230 guests
• Full weekend rental available

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms

Located in Dexter, MI,, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms offers a unique blend of farm-to-table cuisine and rustic romance. This historic farmstead features a beautifully restored barn, rolling pastures, and organic gardens.

Zingerman’s is really geared toward couples who are looking for smaller wedding venues. They specialize in hosting intimate weddings and elopements. They also offer a micro wedding experience for up to 10 people. However, spots are limited and seasonal, so be sure to inquire soon to reserve your date!

Venue 3 Two

Venue 3 Two is a remodeled 1925 mansion in Kentwood, just outside of Grand Rapids. It’s a modern building with a variety of rooms and a spacious layout. They recently added the conservatory room, which has floor to ceiling windows for beautiful views and natural light!

• Patio and courtyard perfect for cocktail hour
