An estimated cost ranges from $1,000–$2,000 for a wedding reception venue rental (depending on season and space) which includes 6 hours of event time, set up, and clean-up. Additionally, there is a $1,000 set up fee for a ceremony.

State Savings Bank, Detroit
State Savings Bank is a restored historic bank building in downtown Detroit. With tall ceilings, marble details, and dramatic architecture, it’s one of the most unique Metro Detroit wedding venues.

Book Tower, Detroit
Book tower is another iconic building in Downtown Detroit. If you like white marble and also the glass conservatory look, this is the perfect venue for you. Book Tower dates back to the 1920’s and is located in the heart of downtown Detroit.
One of the most unique features of Book Tower is that your guests can also stay in the hotel. There’s bars and restaurants in the building, too, so your guests can have a weekend experience without having to drive anywhere!
Book Tower’s hotel rooms are set up like apartments, which makes it a great place for getting ready. It’s also a great location to take wedding photos outside to show off Detroit’s architecture.

Grosse Pointe Yacht Club
The Grosse Pointe Yacht Club combines waterfront views with a refined, nautical feel. It’s a favorite among couples planning formal summer weddings.
The rental price for this venue starts at $15,000 for up to 250 seated guests. This venue offers various settings for weddings, including outdoor ceremonies and indoor receptions, and can accommodate up to 300 guests. Sunset photos along the water are a major highlight here.
Lovett Hall, Dearborn (Henry Ford Museum)

The rooftop is one of our favorite features of the Opera House! In the summer, you can host your cocktail hour and dances on the roof surrounded by Detroit’s buildings. Planterra Conservatory, West Bloomfield
Planterra Conservatory feels like stepping into a secret garden year-round. Natural light, greenery, and a glass ceiling make it incredibly romantic.
Estimated full price according to their site is Spring/Fall: $48,000-$95,000, January/February: $27,000-$80,000.

The Colony Club, Detroit

The starting price is $5,000 which includes basic access to the venue, and additional expenses will depend on the number of guests, menu, and services chosen.
This venue shines for evening weddings with a timeless, upscale feel.

Michigan Central Station
Michigan Central Station is bold, dramatic, and unlike any other venue in the area. This historical, Detroit icon was recently renovated and has begun hosting weddings! If you want your wedding venue to truly say “Detroit,” this is your place!
The rental cost can vary based on size and scope of a wedding. Renting the entire main floor can cost around $65,000 before considering catering, decor and other vendors and can accommodate anywhere from 100-2,000 guests, with options for grand halls, intimate rooms, and outdoor terraces.
If you want plenty of space for a lot of guest, this is a great venue for you. This space is best for large, statement weddings with a modern, editorial style.
Detroit Yacht Club
Located on Belle Isle, the Detroit Yacht Club offers stunning river views and historic character.
The starting price is approximately $8,000 for the venue rental. Couples are spending around $22,000 for a full wedding celebration which includes catering, bar services and other factors.
